What is a CISS or BioPrinter Continuous Ink Supply System?

They are external tanks that continuously supply ink to the cartridges. This way, the cartridges never run out of ink.

How does the BioPrinter CISS system work?

With BioPrinter's CISS units, you will never have to change your printer cartridges again. You will only have to be aware that the ink tanks are not emptied and nothing else. The printer will absorb the ink from the tanks and automatically take it to the cartridges.

Once I have the BioPrinter CISS installed in my printer, what should I take into account?

- Prevent the tanks from running out of ink. Do not let the ink level drop below 2 cm.

- The tanks must always be at the same level as the base of the printer.

- Remember to put the velcro (included in the kits with BioPrinter ink) to the tanks to join them to the printer and thus prevent them from accidentally falling over.
