INSTRUCTIONS:

These cartridges are distinguished from other toner cartridges in that the image unit or drum is carried in the cartridge itself.

Compared to Brother cartridges, they only store the toner powder and when it runs out just fill it up and little else.

The vast majority of Samsung MLT-D1092 style cartridges, when carrying the built-in imaging unit, makes the refill process a bit more laborious. On YouTube there are many videos where they teach you the reload process, but basically you must take into account the following fundamental aspects:

1st We recommend that you use original cartridges to refill. Its components are of better quality and finish and will allow you to perform more refills, without having problems such as toner leaks.

2nd The cartridge consists of two parts: Toner tank (where you will introduce the refill) and imaging unit (or drum)

3º Before recharging, you must empty the excess toner powder that is in the Toner Tank and shake the toner bottle well at the moment you are going to refill. The toner is very fine powder, so you see slowly when you go to insert it in the cartridge. This will prevent toner dust from rising and spreading through the air.

4th The first time you refill the cartridge it will not be necessary, but after the 2nd refill, you will have to empty the waste container housed just below the drum cleaning sheet. Our advice is that you do it every time you recharge, because otherwise you can overflow the residual toner and dirty the inside of the machine.

5th The drum or green cylinder, you should not touch it with your hands, since you could leave marks that will later appear on the prints. Handle it very carefully. Use the gloves that we include in the Kit. We advise you to change the drum and its cleaning sheet when you see dark shadows on the prints.

6º When you change the chip, be careful not to touch the gold colored tracks with your fingers, to avoid creating a bad contact of the chip with the machine. If you use the gloves, you will not have any problems.

It is essential that you use the appropriate toner for each cartridge, so that you get the best results and avoid problems that may affect the printer. Keep in mind that toner powder is not all the same. Each brand has its own qualities and each cartridge model uses its own toner powder. That is, you cannot use toner powder from an HP to recharge a Brother. (It is true that in very specific cases, there is compatibility of brands, but make sure before recharging)
