DESCRIPTION
Epson printers are equipped with a tank where they deposit the excess ink after each head cleaning. Inside it incorporates a sponge which absorbs residual ink. This tank, also called a maintenance box, pads or buffer depending on the printer model, has a control chip that notifies the printer when it reaches 100% of its capacity. Changing the maintenance box, we solved the problem.
But there are printers that do not have a chip in their maintenance box and it is the printer itself that controls the counter of these pads. When this counter reaches its end of life, the printer will be locked and you will not be able to print. With the WIC Reset tool, we can unlock the printer and reset this counter to 0%.
The messages that may appear refer to the pad, buffer or some internal parts of the printer.
At this point, many users choose to get rid of the printer thinking that the solution will cost more money than the value of the printer itself.

Step 2: Once we receive payment for your purchase, we will contact you to coordinate the appointment. Leave a contact telephone number when filling out your form.
PRIOR PREPARATIONS
- You will need: a computer with Windows operating system and a USB cable to connect the printer to the computer.
- Download the ANYDESK program (by clicking on the name you can download it) and have it located. We are going to need it to make the remote connection from our facilities to your computer to manage it as if we were at your side.

APPOINTMENT DAY TO UNLOCK YOUR PRINTER
Step 3: We will call you by phone at the arranged time. Have your Windows PC, USB cable, and printer ready.
Step 4: We will ask you to open the Anydesk program and provide us with the job number (a 9-digit number).
Step 5: A window will appear for you to accept the remote connection. Click OK.
Step 6: We will be at your side and we will operate the computer to complete the pad reset process.
Step 7: We will perform the reset and we will ask you to turn the printer off and on to complete the process.
Step 8: We will verify that the printer is unlocked and that the maintenance box counter is at 0%.
Step 9: We will close the connection and we will no longer manage your computer. Printer operational and mission completed!!
IMPORTANT:the only way to connect to your computer is for you to give us access. Once the connection is closed, we will not be able to connect to your computer in any way.
